Jonathan Snoek
Jonathan is the managing partner at Cascadia Consulting Partners and has led the company from five consultants to twenty-five consultants. Over his 20-year management consulting career, Jonathan has advised clients on long-range strategic planning, supported key decision making using operational, financial modelling & analysis, and navigating policy & economics challenges. He specializes in developing compelling strategy and, just as importantly, leading strategy execution. He has done this in over thirty industries. In addition to working with individual companies, Jonathan acts as a primary advisor for several industry associations across Canada—helping identify and evaluate opportunities to strengthen, and boost the resilience of, Canadian businesses.
Jonathan co-launched Cascadia with the intent of building the kind of consultancy he would want to work with—one that is flexible, collaborative, able to deliver the most qualified consultants to projects, and always focused on the key client challenges. Before starting Cascadia, Jonathan served as Deputy General Manager of the Vancouver Park Board and was a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Strategy Consulting group.
Jonathan holds a BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and takes executive strategy courses from Harvard Business School. In 2019 Jonathan was awarded Business in Vancouver top 40 under 40.
In his free time, you can find Jonathan at the local park with his wife Katie and three kids—Helen, Stella, and Andrew—or playing squash or rec hockey. Jonathan is also a voracious reader of books on business strategy and leadership—his most recent book recommendation is Rebel Talent by Francesca Gino.
