A provincial regulator needed to replace end-of-life custom applications and add functionality to their work environment. A new digital solution was to serve as a platform for innovation and growth over the next generation of their operations. Cascadia was engaged to lay the groundwork for this digital business transformation focused on their specific regulatory area.

- Completed a current state assessment, future state planning, and implementation roadmap considering both technical and procedural aspects of system implementation.
- Completed a market scan, developed a gap analysis, gathered requirements, and supported an end-to-end vendor selection process.
- Supported the technology team in developing a data strategy to match a growing number of data sources, attributes, capabilities, and systems in a centralized manner.
- Outcome
A robust business case was presented to the executive and the Board for approval, including a multi-million-dollar request to proceed with an unprecedented investment in technology, which was unanimously approved.
