- Developed a set of case studies comparing similar sized grocery retailers in other markets who have both successfully and unsuccessfully competed against large international discounters.
- Provided a series of recommended attributes based on lessons learned as to where the retailer should compete or should not compete.
- Developed a functional strategy outlining the series of investments necessary to deliver the new strategy along with timelines and responsibilities.
- Outcome
The refreshed strategy has been endorsed by the grocery retailers management team and is being rolled out on the multiyear timeline developed.
