Healthcare College Amalgamation

In response to a regulatory mandate, 11 health professional colleges were being amalgamated into two new regulatory bodies. This transition required a comprehensive review and reorganization of existing business systems, processes, and technology infrastructures.

• Established a project management office that supported 11 workstreams in conducting amalgamation planning.
• Developed a technology roadmap to support the new colleges in their future transformation visions.
• Implemented new payroll, finance, and websites to ensure business continuity during the amalgamations with minimal disruptions to day-to-day activities.

Two new health regulatory colleges were successfully created with suitable staffing, processes, systems, and policies in place to their support operations.
