Cascadia worked with a provincial Ministry to provide strategic advice and develop a business case for a new content management system with thousands of stakeholders across British Columbia. This digital transformation is the first of its kind for the Ministry in the way it replaces paper files and connects multiple, highly secure legacy systems to a cloud-based software system.
- Our Approach
- Conducted detailed project planning, including mapping future state processes, user stories, journey maps, and estimating capital and operating costs for 5+ years.
- Organized the business team to develop business and technical requirements, evaluate technology and implementation proposals to successfully select, negotiate and contract a technology vendor
- Managed all technical project streams and implemented a change management plan to engage province-wide regional employee groups and other various stakeholder groups.
- Outcome
After successfully securing $5M+ funding through a business case, Cascadia was retained as the project manager for the procurement and implementation. Roll-out of the system across the province is expected in 2022.
