A sophisticated asset management firm with a data-driven culture was looking to expand into intelligent processes, including machine learning processes, backed up by better data management practices. Specifically, they were looking to establish a data lake to support this automation.

• Evaluated the current data landscape at the organization, ongoing pain points, and future data requirements to assess the fit-gap between current and future operational data needs.
• Worked with the client team to develop data requirements, data governance policies, and data standards to support the new AI and machine learning applications.
• Developed recommendations for Master Data Management and migrating data to the new operating model.

Cascadia delivered a data roadmap for creating data management standards that would be required in the new platform, migrating current data to the new platform, integrating new data sources, and sunsetting legacy systems.
