John Dynes
John’s 16 years of capital markets experience has included portfolio management of North American equity and fixed income investments, industry and company research, and financial modeling. John previously managing investment portfolios at the boutique investment firm JC Clark. He couples this investment background with management consulting experience in competitive strategy and financial strategy to help businesses maximize financial resources, diagnose financial risks, improve financial decision-making, and trouble-shoot financial challenges.
John joined Cascadia in 2020 to lead the development of Cascadia Equity—a private equity branch of the business that makes long-term investments in lower middle market businesses and works with their management teams to develop and execute a new strategic plan. John is a CFA and CMT charterholder.
John lived in Toronto with his wife Julie and two energetic boys. Outside of his role at Cascadia, he has achieved a 5-star rating from his sons for his ride-hailing services to hockey, lacrosse, and local ice cream shops.
